2012

This year I have traveled to Nashville, New York, the Outer Banks, Niagara Falls, Toronto, Vancouver, Edmonton, Seattle, Portland, home to Penticton, and home to Waterloo. I backpacked across Europe, exploring Amsterdam and Noordvijk, Zurich, Santorini, Crete, Athens, Barcelona, Salou, Rome, Cinque Terre, Florence, Cortona, Venice, Bath, Portishead, and a little bit of London. I sewed my first quilt, gave up my car and started commuting to work by bike and on foot, adopted the cutest baby hedgehog, took some classes and applied to take more, met amazing people from all across the globe and my cousin’s new baby, developed a scrabble obsession, made some knitted creatures, walked a half marathon with my mum, saw amazing shows on Broadway and a couple of 80′s bands in concert, hiked from Thira to Oia, read seventy-nine books, and perfected my pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. Some were better than others, but together the collection has been amazing. Cheers to the year and high hopes for the next!
